The Sitz Lakes are located on a large working Angus ranch near the town of Harrison, Montana. There are three lakes on the ranch holding large brook, rainbow and brown trout in the 18"-24" range". The rugged Tobacco Root mountains tower above the lake, offering outstanding scenery in addition to trophy trout.
The three fertile lakes are loaded with scuds, sowbugs, midges, callibaetis, damselflies and dragonflies, giving anglers outstanding opportunities for both top water and subsurface fishing. Sitz lakes are a short drive from the Upper Madison, Lower Madison, and Jefferson rivers, allowing for a great variety day or a back up venue when other waters are high or off color.
